Loft Flooring

Today, I was alone in Cabinville. Last night, Christy and I loaded the car trailer with all of the 2x6 Tongue and Groove floor boards and this morning, I transported them all to the cabin site. It took a little over 2 hours to transport them to the top. Once I was finished, I started on the loft floor. I got up there this morning at 9am and I worked until a little after 5pm. It was a long day, but I finished half of the loft floor. I used metal plates to tie the loft beams together. The bedroom in the rear left of the cabin actually looks like a room at this point. I should be able to get the other half finished tomorrow. Thankfully, I don't have to transport any more of the floor boards in the morning, so I will make better time than I did today. Yesterday, I purchased a Ryobi 18 volt finish nailer to install the loft floor. It works great and speeds things up quite a bit. The whole cabin is coming along nicely. I am happy with our progress to this point.
