Framing the Interior Walls

Jul 21, 2017

I went up the cabin alone today and spent the entire day framing the interior walls. The floor joists for the loft sit on top of the walls, so I needed to build the walls to be able to continue. I didn't run into any issues today. Just listened to talk radio on 99.1 FM and plugged away. I purchased a new miter saw to be able to cut all the way through the 4" x 8" loft joists. It was a bit pricey, but it will certainly help with the rest of the cabin. I was able to complete all of the interior framing. It went a lot faster than I had anticipated. Tomorrow I should be able to get all of the loft joists cut and installed! It's really starting to look like a home now!
